Reducing our Carbon Footprint
Ecostar takes part in multiple practices to reduce our impact on the environment.
We are extremely committed to reducing waste. We aim to achieve this by reducing our cardboard and plastic packaging by 30% in 2024. Additionally, we practice responsible recycling, with over 95% of our waste being recycled.
Our factories and offices also consist of energy-efficient, modern facilities such as solar panels. In 2024, we aim to switch all of our factory and warehouse lighting to LED to reduce our energy usage further.
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a big priority for us, and we support the efforts of the International Maritime Organisation and Global Maritime Technology Cooperation Centres.
Double Glazing
At the heart of Ecostar is double glazing, involving two panes of glass separated by a layer of insulating glass. This is an environmentally friendly option for those looking to control the temperature of their home as it reduces heat and improves energy efficiency.
One of the core features of our double-glazed windows and doors is unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC), an environmentally friendly type of plastic.

Partnering with Companies
At Ecostar, we partner with companies that share our passion for sustainability and preserving the environment.
Alongside our partners, we’ve created efficient recycling programs for our uPVC profiles. Once these profiles reach the end of their lifespan, they can be shredded, compressed into pellets, and reused. To achieve this, we use low-emission vehicles and optimise delivery routes to reduce drive times and emissions.
